My name is Andrew Port. I am a Physiotherapist and a First Aid Instructor and qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1991. I have worked in the Private and Public sector, sports teams and in New Zealand at one point. I have worked Pitchside for over twenty years giving me valuable experience in dealing with all that can occur on and around a pitch. This has been from cardiac arrests to being called onto the pitch because the pea in the Refs whistle froze. [no I didn’t carry a spare whistle!]
I work with local rugby clubs, have worked for County as well as Cup games at Millennium Stadium. I was fortunate enough to work at Rugby League World Cup in 2013, and will also be at Rugby Union World Cup this year. I still work with Tadley Rugby Club.
Also I have many years experience with Football pitchside, having a son passionate about football. I will cover his team as well as many Summer Football tournaments. I work part-time with the FA as a Medical tutor teaching Emergency aid to parents, coaches, and Clubs.
I have used this experience to work as an Instructor to teach practical First Aid to Sports teams, small firms, Dentists as well as Leisure centres, after school clubs, Dance schools, Scouts and many more.
My Courses can be specific to your area and will cover all HSE requirements and if for Children comply with Ofsted and EYFS requirements. My parent company is Pro-trainings and certificates are nationally recognised.
